I had a blast shooting Tom & Kali’s engagement session in the North Shore of Pittsburgh!  These two were so full of happiness and love and it was just infectious! They were always smiling and laughing and just made the whole session so much fun! I cannot wait for their wedding this summer. They will be married on a beautiful private farm so they wanted a city feel for their engagement session… so what better than the North Shore of Pittsburgh?

I love shooting engagement sessions on the  North Shore of Pittsburgh because it supplies beautiful views of the city, while still having a lot of greenery. Tom even showed me a new spot with some awesome willow tress (my favorite!). He told me that it was always his favorite spot on his daily runs when he lived in the area and it quickly became my new favorite spot on the North Shore for the beautiful photos we got shooting through the trees! While we were there we had to fend off a few geese, but luckily my assistant was able to keep them away while we got the shots we needed (thanks mom!).  Of course, no North Shore Engagement Session would be complete with out a stop on the iconic Clemente Bridge. I love shooting here and was excited to switch it up and shoot on the bridge at night to capture all the beautiful city lights! It only got better when Kali told me how she and Tom once put a lock on the bridge together. After a few minutes of searching we found their lock! It made their engagement photos on the Clemente Bridge so much more special.
